June 16th

Today was the day i got to go the market and go shopping for the things we sell here on thursday nights at our market. it was really cool being completely immersed in the culture and get to have a fun day. this week has been incredible. god has been doing some amazing htings in my life. last night i was kind of feeling down and a little homesick maybe and i was walking through the kitchen and mamma frye called my name so i turned around and she said has anyone told you they love you today and i said no. she said well i love you. i said how did you know thats what i needed to hear right this second. god totally provided exactly what i needed. it was just amazing to know that god knew what i needed in that moment and then he used mamma frye to give it to me. tonight we had extended worship where we pray with the staff members and it is incredibly powerful. i was really able to open up to one of the other interns, mark the other night in small group. he saw me struggling tonight at worship and came over and asked to pray with me and we prayed and then he sat and talked with me and hugged me for over an hour. he is truly a blessing. it is amazing to see how god is using him to get to me on a very deep level. god has just been movign in me the past couple days more and more and i cant wait to see what happens in the next 2 weeks that i have left. i am anxious to see gods plans for me unfold before my eyes. i am truly blessed with an amazing support system down here to help me figure out all the things that have happened and truly pray for not only me but everyone else that has been affected by certain events and i just am grateful and i hope that the peace that i feel about all these things travels and brings peace to my parents hearts and my sisters heart. i just ask that you pray for us as we are definitely all growing spiritually individually but also we are definitely growing together and getting very close. i pray that we will be able to keep these intense friendships forever.
