june 17th

today was a really fun day. we went to an amusement park called plaza sesamo. it is a theme park based on seasame street. it was so much fun. we took the kids from monatiel de amor. i had a blast. i rode this ride with one of the girls that went upside down. it was really scary, but the joy in her face when i said i would ride with her made me feel so good i couldnt say no. we had a really amazing day. tonight at worship adam gave his testimony. he is such an inspiration and so amazing and a true miracle. i am so proud to be able to call him my friend. he really touched a lot of hearts tonight and im so thankful to have him in my life. we met with our small groups for the interns tongiht which was awesome because we are all so close and it is a really good chance to sit down and really connect on a lot of levels. talking to them, they reminded me that i cant do the things i want to by myself, i need jesus to do them through me. i cant do it on my own. i think thats something that a lot of people struggle with because we all want to be independent and brave or strong and dont want to seem weak but the people with the strongest faith dont do it on their own and ask god daily for his help. it was just really interesting to share our struggles with each other and really be able to understand each other more and pray over each other. i feel so close to the 3 of them that we can talk about anything. it is just an amazing feeling since i am so far away from home. it is sort of like my own little famliy support system down here. please keep posting comments and encouragment is always appreciated :)
